I'm not even going to introduce this segment: 1. Good microphone/headset
No one likes a trash microphone. If you have one (and you know who you are) throw it in the bin; then set the bin on fire, then throw the bin through your arch nemesis' window (don't actually do that). Having a bad microphone is one of the seven deadly sins of online play in games and effects everyone else's gameplay experience. If I had a pound for every time I've gone into a CSGO game and heard static in someone's mic, I would have enough money to buy an RTX 3080 at scalper's prices.
2. Mouse with DPI control (and/ or macro buttons)
A lot of skilled players utilise their mouse to perform as many actions with the least amount of effort regardless of the game and aim for full customisation with their mouse. DPI refers to Dots per inch, and the higher the DPI the more dot your cursor travels per inch of mouse movement. Getting a mouse that has full customisation of this allows players to adjust their sensitivity in a variety of games and develop better muscle memory when aiming. Having an additional macro or two makes a player more efficient at executing tasks.
3. Xbox or Playstation controller
If you play Dark Souls with mouse and keyboard, I might have to report you to the authorities. That shit be really weird.
4. Cleaning items (Don't be dirty)
Let me tell you a tale of pure fire hazard. I have a friend who had a old gaming PC that was around the size of an XBOX and hasn't opened the PC in years. He had told us he was getting issues with the PC such as fans not spinning and other issues. We had opened his PC to find dust in everywhere in the PC. Surprisingly, with the amount of dust that was in the system it had not caught fire. Please clean your PC and show it some love.

5. Amazon Alexa
You may have noticed the title says 4 gaming gadgets and not 5, but this one is for my lazy people. Get an Amazon Alexa or Google Nest to control your lights. I don't want to get up to turn off my lights.
